Brain Awareness Week. Invest in your brain.
Increase the level of your brain’s resilience by building your brain and cognitive capacity. This involves the process of neuroplasticity – the brain is dynamic and changes with stimulating experiences and makes functional and structural changes. But neuroplasticity does not happen in a vacumn. The brain needs to have neurotrophic growth factors and to be challenged and stimulated. One way to increase neurotrophic growth factors is to engage in physical exercise.
Day two: Move. Engage in some huff and puff physical exercise so you can’t sing and move at the same time for about twenty-five minutes. Exercise today and your attention and concentration will improve immediately, and you will boost potential brain growth. Exercise for life and you will reduce your risk for dementia.
